March 26, 1945 V...MAIL "a most rapid means of communication"

V-MAIL, aka Victory Mail, is a free, fast and easy way for our soldiers to stay in touch with friends and family. One page letters written on special forms are photographed and shipped on film . Upon arrival at their destination the letters are printed and delivered to the addressee. Using the V-Mail service saves thousands of pounds of cargo space.
